Jet Aviation Delivers Its First ACJ319neo Completion

Jet Aviation’s Basel completions center has delivered its first VVIP cabin project on an Airbus ACJ319neo. The aircraft interior, which was designed in collaboration with the owner’s own interior designer, is the quietest cabin the facility has completed to date, among more than 200 aircraft, including 23 Airbus bizliners alone, it has outfitted since 2000.

A goal was to maximize light in the cabin, which was achieved through the strategic positioning of decorative mirrored panels placed throughout the interior. Each was etched with an intricate pattern that echoes those seen in the carpeting and moldings. A custom embroidered art panel hangs above the bed in the master bedroom, with complementary artwork arranged throughout the cabin, which is furnished in cream and light beige and accented with gold, mother of pearl, and Calcatta and Onyx marble detailing.

“The cabin is extremely comfortable, with a remarkably quiet interior, all at reduced weight,” noted Jeremie Caillet, the company’s v-p of completions. “Our departments have been working together to rethink industry norms, and apply new methodologies to create the next generation of VVIP cabins that are not only beautifully designed and crafted, but are lighter and quieter, thus reducing fuel consumption while still providing passengers exceptional levels of comfort.”
