Used Business Jet Market to Feel the Impact of G700

The market for pre-owned business jets is expected to soften as deliveries of the Gulfstream G700 begin, with customers selling their current aircraft after upgrading to the new model. According to Hagerty Jet Group, a broker specializing in Gulfstream, the influx of G700s will significantly impact used G500, G600, and G650/650ER models. Over 40 G700s are ready for delivery, but crew training and certification issues may limit availability. Gulfstream is likely to cease G650ER production as the G700 enters service, with final deliveries expected by mid-2025.

Training for G700 crews will be conducted by FlightSafety International, but full certification from EASA is still pending and may take several months.
