Dassault Opens Falcon Maintenance Center in Florida
Dassault Falcon Jet has opened a large service center in Melbourne, Florida.

Dassault Falcon Jet has opened a new service center at Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB). The French aircraft manufacturer said the investment significantly expands its capacity to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to operators of its business jets in North and South America.
The 250,000-sq.-ft. facility can accommodate all existing Falcon aircraft, as well as the ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, which is under development. Technicians will be able to service up to 14 aircraft simultaneously.
Dassault’s Melbourne facility is fully equipped to perform the complete range of inspection, repair and overhaul work, from line maintenance to C checks, as well as engineering and modification projects. It includes a 54,000-sq.-ft. paint shop, along with other workshops, customer offices and lounges.
“Our state-of-the-art MRO center in Melbourne is the latest expansion of our worldwide network of more than 40 service centers,” said Éric Trappier, chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation. “It significantly increases capacity in North and South America and brings service capabilities closer to our Falcon customers. Dassault already has an extensive presence in the U.S., including 2,500 employees and aircraft completion and sales departments.”
