Embraer Showcases Praetor 600 and Phenom 300E at EBACE
Embraer said it specifically brought the aircraft to the show because they are well suited to European operators.

At EBACE 2024, Embraer showcased the super-midsize Praetor 600 and light Phenom 300E aircraft. The company said it specifically brought these aircraft to the show because they are well suited to European operators.
“The 300 has been the best-selling aircraft in this segment for the past 12 years. And an interesting fact we observed last year is that, over the past 12 months, it became the most-flown aircraft in the U.S. Last year, it was the aircraft with the highest number of takeoffs and landings,” said Embraer Sales Director Ricardo Carvalhal. “More than 360,000 flight hours over 12 months made it the most-flown business jet in the U.S.—an extremely successful product from that standpoint.”
Carvalhal said the company is also highlighting the Praetor 600’s versatility for the European market at the show. “The Praetor 600 has an endurance of about 9 hours, which is ideal for the European scenario, connecting London with New York or Dubai, which are very important cities for the region,” he said. “Another thing we are emphasizing about the 600 is that it is definitely the technology leader in its class. So, thanks to its technological leadership, this aircraft is usually a very good benchmark for companies and customers operating larger aircraft.”
Regarding speculation that Embraer could develop a larger aircraft in the future, Carvalhal declined to provide details. “Historically, Embraer has always tried to find new ways to enter new segments and identify new business opportunities. We are actively exploring every opportunity in the market, whether above what we currently do or below what we currently do in terms of aircraft size. But at this point, we have no announcements.”
