Greenpoint Completes Latest BBJ 787 Modification Project

Greenpoint Technologies’ modification center in Moses Lake, Washington, delivered another Boeing BBJ 787 to its customer on schedule, completing a cabin modification and interior refurbishment project, Safran’s division reported this week.

This project was one of a series of maintenance and repair programs that Greenpoint carried out for VIP BBJ 787 customers last year. “Greenpoint completed a record number of BBJ 787 interior modification and maintenance programs, fielding one of the world’s most experienced teams working on this platform,” the company said in a statement. In August, the company completed its sixth BBJ 787 modification project. In addition, the company inducted a 787 for maintenance.

“This successful on-time delivery demonstrates our growing maintenance capabilities and in-depth knowledge of the BBJ 787 airframe,” said Greenpoint Technologies CEO Klaus Koester. “More importantly, it reflects Greenpoint’s commitment to supporting our customers throughout the entire life cycle of their aircraft.”

Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Bothell, Washington, Greenpoint is one of the first authorized Boeing Business Jets completion centers. It has completed dozens of projects involving the 747, 757, 777 and 787 models, as well as BBJs based on the 737 series.
