Gulfstream Delivers First Ultra-Long-Range G800
The first delivery comes four months after the aircraft received FAA and EASA certification.

After receiving dual FAA and EASA certification in April, Gulfstream has delivered its first ultra-long-range G800 aircraft, the Savannah, Georgia-based aircraft manufacturer announced today. The first delivered G800 was outfitted and handed over at the aircraft assembly facility in Appleton, Wisconsin, the largest such facility outside the General Dynamics subsidiary’s Savannah headquarters.
“We are seeing remarkable demand for the G800, and the entire Gulfstream team is eager to begin deliveries to our customers,” company president Mark Burns said. “The G800 is entering service with an exceptional degree of program maturity, just as the Gulfstream G700 did before it. We look forward to customers around the world experiencing the aircraft’s outstanding capabilities and cabin comfort.”
First unveiled in late 2021, the large twin-engine jet has a range of 8,200 nautical miles at a cruise speed of Mach 0.85 and 7,000 nautical miles at a cruise speed of Mach 0.90. The G800’s maximum operating speed is Mach 0.935. Its cabin can be configured with four living areas or three living areas and a crew rest compartment. It features 16 of Gulfstream’s signature oval windows and has a cabin altitude of 2,840 feet (840 m) when flying at 41,000 feet (12,800 m).
