Honda Enhances the Latest HondaJet Configuration
A modification package is available for owners of classic HondaJet aircraft and aircraft upgraded to the APMG configuration.

Owners and operators of classic HondaJet aircraft, as well as aircraft upgraded to the Advanced Performance Modification Group (APMG) configuration, can now add further enhancements with Honda Aircraft’s new APMG S package. The latest updates modernize older HondaJet models by adding features available on the current HondaJet Elite S.
The APMG S upgrade, already certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), includes software and hardware enhancements to the HondaJet’s Garmin G3000 avionics, graphical weight and balance, improved nosewheel control through the Advanced Steering Augmentation System (ASAS), and a 300-pound increase in maximum takeoff weight. The ASAS improves steering precision and expands crosswind handling capability.
Honda Aircraft’s 21 authorized service centers and its main service center in Greensboro, North Carolina, offer the APMG S upgrade, which can also include an interior update. Certification of the APMG S in other countries is expected soon. HondaJet simulators have been upgraded to reflect these changes.
“Since delivering the first HondaJet aircraft, Honda Aircraft has made it its mission to provide its customers with the highest level of performance,” said Amod Kelkar, senior vice president, chief commercial officer and head of major HondaJet Echelon projects. “As we approach the 10th anniversary of the first HondaJet delivery, we are pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to upgrade their aircraft using the advanced technologies and capabilities of later versions of the award-winning HondaJet aircraft.”
