Lufthansa Technik Unveils The BOW VIP Cabin Concept

At the annual Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Lufthansa Technik and Designworks unveiled The BOW, a VIP cabin concept for narrowbody aircraft. The project is designed for a group of passengers, such as a corporate board, sports team, or musical ensemble. Each private space accommodates one or two travelers and features individual storage, while sliding partitions allow the atmosphere to shift from private to open.

The cabin comprises several zones: a reception area with a bar, a lounge with two curved touchscreens and a large table, and suites featuring acoustic panels, lighting scenarios, and scent systems. The technological features include Hidden Touch panels that blend into the surface when switched off, Omni-Fi speakers with panoramic sound, and wireless charging. According to Fabian Nagel, vice president of sales for VIP and special mission services at Lufthansa Technik, the concept takes group travel to a new level by offering customers the flexibility to configure each mission.
