Bombardier says the Global 7500 can reach 30% more airports than its closest speed-and-range competitor, a claim based on the manufacturer’s internal analysis. For operators, access matters more. Range isn't just how far a jet flies; it's how close the aircraft can get to where clients need to be.

DC Aviation Malta has taken delivery of its third Global 7500, bringing the operator’s total fleet to six aircraft. It'll operate under the company’s Maltese air operator’s certificate.

More Reach, a Familiar Platform

The operator pitches the Global 7500’s range and cabin to its international clientele, citing non-stop connections between major destinations worldwide.  DC Aviation Malta has not disclosed the new aircraft's cabin configuration or announced specific routes.

“The addition of a third Global 7500 to our fleet is an important step in our growth strategy and reflects the experience we have developed in managing and operating Bombardier aircraft,” said Stanley Bugeja, managing director of DC Aviation Malta.

The expansion follows a different fleet addition: Corporate Jet Investor reported in October 2025 that DC Aviation Malta had added a San Marino-registered Challenger 350. That distinction matters for the fleet count. Six aircraft is the total; the supplied evidence doesn't establish that the operator has six ultra-long-range jets in its fleet.

The Client Perspective

What should prospective clients take away? The addition signals greater emphasis on ultra-long-range flying, but it doesn't guarantee aircraft availability for a client’s particular departure.

“We continue to strengthen our ultra-long-range capabilities while remaining focused on providing our clients with a truly distinctive flight experience, tailored to their individual needs,” Bugeja added.

Buyers should check before they commit. Confirm the assigned aircraft’s cabin layout, suitability for the proposed mission and availability before making a commitment to the flight.
