Textron Aviation: Business Aircraft Demand in Asia Remains Strong
The company’s turboprop and jet aircraft are selling well across the region.

Textron Aviation is seeing strong demand in the Asia-Pacific region for its turboprops and business jets, Tony Jones, the company’s vice president of sales for the region, said this week at the Singapore Airshow 2026.
Although he noted that interest extends across the entire product line, the U.S. aircraft manufacturer is showcasing its best-selling models at the Asian aerospace exhibition: the midsize, twin-engine Cessna Citation Latitude and the twin-engine Beechcraft King Air 360 turboprop. Demand is being supported by a healthy economy, strong business confidence and growth across the region, Jones said.
“The Asia-Pacific region is a strong market for turboprops,” he said. “Australia is a great market for us, and Southeast Asia is also very promising right now. The King Air and Latitude models that we are showcasing here in Singapore are aircraft that are truly well suited to this market.”
According to Jones, the company’s updated products, including the CJ2 Gen 3 with Garmin’s automatic landing system and the recently FAA-certified Citation Ascend, are also attracting attention in Asia. In addition, he noted that there is considerable interest in the region in Textron Aviation’s Beechcraft Denali single-engine turboprop, which is under development and is expected to receive U.S. approval soon.
Meanwhile, attitudes toward business aviation in Asia are changing, with more people viewing it as a business tool rather than a luxury, Jones noted. He also said that airport infrastructure in Asia is improving, further stimulating demand for business jets and turboprops in the region.
